Tenant checking on TINZ is good value for members of Associations

Members of Associations affiliated to the NZPIF who are not using TINZ for tenant credit checks are paying more than they need to do so for this service. NZPIF has a speciaI deal in place with TINZ and TINZ gives you much more than just a credit check. For a heavily discounted rate a TINZ check includes a simultaneous search through five relevant databases. They are:

• TINZ database;

• Ministry of Justice Tenancy Tribunal orders;

• The CIA debt Recovery Group Ltd;

• Veda Advantage (Previously Baycorp);

• LTNZ Drivers License national database

  Further to this NZPIF members are able to offset checking costs by lodging tenant references on the TINZ website. Now that most Real Estate companies use TINZ this peer to peer sharing is vast and becoming the most important database included in TINZ tenant checks, as it is often tenancy information which bad tenants desperately try to hide.
